Two U.S. intelligence report recently described the U.S. pessimism about the success of the U.S. war strategy in Afghanistan.
The report, known as the National Intelligence estimate leaked to The New York Times, Wednesday (15/12) and considering the slim chance that the results are expected in Afghanistan, but Pakistan take action against militants on the border of their sanctuary.
Conclusion The report criticized the claims made by U.S. officials and military commanders about their success to the war, came as the White House is scheduled to release a final review of war strategy in Afghanistan on Thursday (16/12).
Stringent measures have been planned to counter in the border area. According to Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said in a statement last week, the American-led forces have made little progress in some areas where the fighting group has not coped with it.
Pakistan rejects criticism of the existence of a safe place to fighters in the border area, stated that launched a military operation against militants in tribal area in the past year in North-West Pakistan.
Foreign troops accused of killing a few civilians during the last nine years. Civilian casualties will grow if American forces led by conducting more transactions in border areas.
