Los Angeles: Actor comedian in several films such as The Naked Gun and Airplane, Leslie Nielsen, reportedly died at the age of 84 due to complications from pneumonia or pneumonia which he suffered on Monday (29/11).
As reported by Contactmusic.com site, this Canadian actor died in the final seconds of breath at 17:34 local time. Shortly before he died, Nielsen surrounded by his family at a hospital near his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA, on Sunday yesterday.
Statement from relatives Nielsen said, "We are saddened by the death of beloved actor Leslie Nielsen, probably best remembered as Lt. Frank Drebin in The Naked Gun, which more than 60 year career in film and television world."
Nielsen was trained by the Royal Canadian Air Force as a teenager before switching careers to pursue acting. His first role came in 1956 when he played in the crime drama Ransom! And he enjoyed success in the world the big screen and television. He also had received penhargaan Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1988 and get Canada's Walk of Fame in 2001.
