Sarah Palin and the "Grift that stole Christmas."

Well I already shared with you Palin's attempts to trick people into buying that crappy Christmas book of hers again, but as it turns out that is only the beginning of her attempts to sell you sub-par products.

Palin is also pimping a Fox News holiday special with Todd Starnes, who is so freaked out about the imagined "War on Christmas" that he is apparently constantly stuffing his face with comfort food to calm himself down.

As you can see the program features a who's who from the "I have never heard of these people" list. And of course Sarah Palin, who is only a handful of years away from being added to that list.

But Palin is not finished yet.

Her Facebook page also features a promo for a Christmas song by the world's worst band Madison Rising, that is SO bad you will probably want to ask Santa for a new set of eardrums.

Madison Rising. This band never ceases to amaze. Heartstrings pull and gratefulness soars while listening to this vocal Christmas card they send to our United States Military. These are special musicians blessing us with the American spirit boldly coursing through their music. Thank you, Madison Rising, for using your talent to inspire and empower. Thank you, troops, for everything.

- Sarah Palin

Yeah apparently the "American spirit boldly coursing through their music" takes the place of any talent.

Wait, you don't believe it could be that bad?

Okay you asked for it.

Sorry you doubted me now?

And the grifting has now spread to other family members as well.

Such as older brother Chuck, who is now just outright begging for money, so that he can take pretty pictures and put together some kind of book that will never sell.

Here is Wonkette's take:

We’ve had a lot of fun over the years laughing until we puked about how former half-term governor Sarah Palin loves to fleece rubes. (You and your family should probably check Grandma’s bank statements before you send her to the home.) But did you know grifting is an art you can learn? It’s true! Just ask Palin’s brother, Chuck Heath Jr., who has a kickstarter up for the fine and noble purpose of buying Chuck Heath Jr. some new camera equipment!

Yeah that about sums it up.

Hey isn't Chuck's sister like rich or something? Why the fuck doesn't he just ask her to give him money to help him get started?

Never mind I already know the answer to that one. As Todd Palin's likes to say, "What's in it for us?"

I really have only one request for Santa this year, and it is not so much a gift I would like as merely a promise to guide his sleigh right over a certain house in Wasilla when his reindeer feel the need to relieve themselves.

Jeb Bush officially throws his hat into the presidential ring for 2016.

Not that this is a surprise, but now there is not longer any remaining doubt.

I actually think that this will do for the Republican field, essentially what having Hillary contemplating a run has done to the Democratic field.

I'm not saying that Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Rand Paul, and Chris Christie will not necessarily run, I am just saying that they will have little chance of beating Jeb. And he will for all intents and purposes draw the majority of media attention.

And let me just add at this point that the Democrats have no choice but to rally behind Hillary at this point. Because like it or not she has the very best chance of beating Bush in the general.

Sarah Palin basks in praise from conservative writers over her fake hunting.

Courtesy of Annie Okey Dokey's Facebook page:

Do the "scientific" haters not realize that it's considered practically illegal, immoral and fattening NOT to help control predators that decimate the food source these granola-crunching yahoos live on? And by food source, I mean grain fields.

According to the article: "Sarah Palin will unfortunately not be able to make a dent in the hog population in Texas even if she stayed for the entire year with an unlimited supply of ammo."

PLEASE, let me try, let me try!

 - Sarah Palin

The article that Palin's ghostwriter refers to is this one from Hot Air which says, among other things, this:

Sarah Palin will unfortunately not be able to make a dent in the hog population in Texas even if she stayed for the entire year with an unlimited supply of ammo. Spare us the sanctimonious sighs and comments about the cruelty of slaughtering God’s creatures. She’s doing everyone a very small favor and somebody will probably get a meal out of the deal.

For one thing as I pointed out in an earlier post, Palin did not kill that "wild boar."

Most likely the Motor City Mammal Massacring Maniac did it for her.

And the other thing is that this is NOT a wild boar. It is a pet from Nugent's SpiritWild Ranch, where he allows city folk to come and play act as great white hunters.

So the animal that was killed, was a pet that was killed for her, so that she could pose for a picture, to fool the paint chip eaters.

And look it worked!

You know another little tidbit that my source revealed to me is that as far as she knew, and she is positioned to know quite a lot, Sarah Palin has never shot and killed ANYTHING.

She also hated going fishing with Todd, but only did it early in their marriage because he insisted. She then stopped altogether later in the marriage, only returning in 2009 for a day of photo-ops to feed to the press.

Don;t forget, EVERYTHING about Sarah Palin is phony. And I do mean EVERYTHING!

Well it finally happened. Sarah Palin comes out in support of the CIA torture techniques. Kind of surprised it took so long.

Sarah Palin in her "puffed up leather coat."
Courtesy of Sarah "Whip it, whip it good" Palin's Facebook page:

America Asks: "Whose Side Are You On"; Necessarily Directing This At Our President

In debauched minds it is fine for our young, once potentially unifying President to boast, "I'm pretty good at killing" while speaking of his own secret kill list, but all hell breaks loose if America's expert and experienced CIA (Even CIA Director Brennan recognizes that the CIA was not adequately trained to conduct these "enhanced terrogations.") keeps known terrorists up at night for questioning, plays annoying music to get the evil ones' attention, and considers whatever else necessary to keep us safe. (Yuck it up much, Nobel Peacenik President?) From the cozy confines of the White House he blusters a willingness to assassinate whomever he chooses, no need for judicial balance or seasoned military brass strategy – in fact the Community Organizer canned nearly 200 of our top military officials. And leftist response to their leader's suspiciously opaque drone game plan? Crickets.

(Wrong Brenda Bitchface, liberals have talked about our frustration with the drone programs quite frequently. Drone programs that, by the way, were started by George W. Bush and only exist due to the illegal wars that he started in the first place.)

Mr. President: newsflash ignored by your yapping lapdogs – many of our finest whom you unprecedentedly refer to as "YOUR" own troops confide that the only thing legitimizing your being Commander in Chief is that puffed up leather coat you sport with an embroidered title on your left breast. They want to respect you; they know to obey you; they deserve better.

(Like who? John McCain who never saw an adversary that he did not want to bomb back to the stone age. Or Mitt Romney who may actually have known less about foreign relations than even the woman whose credentials were all based on her state's proximity to Putin's backyard?)

Want to talk "torture"? Evidence #1: Innocent Americans tortured and murdered by guilty terrorists on 9/11. Note the accurate terms "innocent" and "guilty". (The 9-11 attacks can be called all kinds of terrible things, but they certainly cannot be defined as "torture.") Innocent 9/11 families are still tortured. Torture is slicing off the heads of investigative journalists and American charity workers serving in the Middle East who are used as political pawns. (No, actually that's just murder.) Torture is what radical Islamists routinely do to women and minorities.

True Americans say "never again." These perpetrators are evil monsters sharing dark demonic (Demonic?) intentions with radical Muslims who are beheading Christian children today overseas. True Americans serving as watchmen on the wall say, "Not on our soil. Not on my watch." And any American-loving leader should promise, "Whatever it takes to stop evil, to protect this nation, we shall do."

(No! That is where you are wrong crazy lady. An "American-loving leader" recognizes that America should do NOTHING that damages the country's integrity in the eyes of the world, or undermines the moral high ground it needs to compel other nations to treat their prisoners, women, and everyday citizens with respect for their human rights. George Bush stole that from us, NOT  President Obama.)

You're on one side or the other. What is it, liberals: sympathy for inconvenienced terrorists who would murder our children or saving America?

- Sarah Palin

And that in a nutshell is what is wrong with Sarah Palin and her ilk. They see the world through the eyes of children, where everything is good or evil, right or wrong, black or white. Without recognizing that most things are rendered in varying shades of gray.

However America using torture, well that really is a case of good and evil. And evil would be those who use the fear that most Americans felt after the 9-11 attacks to justify engaging in tactics that would forever damage us long after we had overcome the panic that gripped us in its aftermath.

Speaking of torture can you imagine what is going through John McCain's mind right now as he listens to this garbage?

It's your damn fault old man. It's your damn fault.

Possible reason for concern. Apparently Willow Palin is now armed.

Sarah Palin's ghostwriter helped her compose a rather meandering post which included a bit about her friend Juanita's first moose kill, an article her brother wrote about hanging out with the Duck Dynasty dipshits, and this:

Running joke among the family is “we never win anything!”, so what a cool surprise today that Willow won the Wasilla High School Swim Team fundraiser raffle – a Remington with a sweet scope! (I know... only in Alaska.)

I have to mention that I am a life long Alaskan and have never heard of a high school affiliated raffle giving away a hunting rifle, but let's face it Wasilla marches to its own tone deaf drummer.

I have also never heard of Willow wanting to go hunting, so one has to wonder just how useful of a prize a Remington with a "sweet scope" really is to the budding hair stylist.

What I do know is that Willow tends to hold a grudge, so I will make sure that my curtains are closed at night just to be on the safe side.

Considering what I am about to share I think I will be moving up the list of people who the Palins would like to see eliminated.

Sarah Palin once again under the delusion that she speaks for America, and seems to forget that newly elected members of Congress are not yet on the job.

Courtesy of Not the Voice of America's Facebook page:

Grant me this use of America's voice: When you cut through all the “inside baseball” stuff in this Omnibus Spending Bill that's in front of Congress, you're left with two cold hard facts: this bill doesn't defund Obama's amnesty (so he gets to reward lawbreakers with your tax dollars) and it adds to our dangerous, unsustainable debt. It also breaks campaign promises made by quite a few of our incumbent politicians on both sides of the aisle. Hey, if you thought we wanted more of the same as we worked our butts off to get good folks elected in November, then why did we vote to oust liberals who got America into this mess in the first place? Guess what, GOP: our victory party is over and voters are wide awake and trusting you to keep your promises to America. Get a handle on your debt. Stop Obama's amnesty to illegal aliens. Support our military. Bottom line: we elected you to stop Obama's “fundamental transformation of America.” Do it – especially you Republicans who promised to do it. Or face America's wrath next go 'round because an elephant never forgets.

"Grant me the use of America's voice." Does that remind anybody else of Palin writing that letter she wrote in God's voice about her easy pregnancy over a week before Trig was actually born?

For the record she does NOT speak in America's voice.

And also for the record the newly elected 2014 House members are not yet able to vote on this bill, and some of the members who are still there she actively tried to get replaced, so who the hell is she talking to?

However I am thrilled that she now refers to herself as an "elephant," because I have been looking for a new nickname.

Not to shock you or anything but I do almost agree with Palin on this, only not for the same reasons of course.

This Omnibus bill actually does suck and there are legitimate reasons to be against it.

Here are a few:

Congressional appropriators ordered four more F-35 joint strike fighters at a cost of $479 million dollars, even though the Pentagon didn’t ask for them.

Since those shiny new F-35s aren’t going to pay for themselves, Congress did manage to trim a few areas of the budget. For example, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, commonly referred to as WIC, was on the receiving end of a $93 million budget cut.

The 2014 Midterms saw voters in Oregon, Alaska, and Washington, D.C. vote to legalize Marijuana for recreational use. Unlike in Alaska and Oregon, however, the D.C. ballot measure is subject to congressional approval. So, despite the fact that the actual citizens of Washington, D.C. voted for legalization by a margin of more than 2 to 1, anti-legalization advocates in Congress attached a rider that completely undoes the voter-backed change and keeps Marijuana illegal.

The current budget deal includes a repeal of the Dodd-Frank derivatives rule that was literally written by big bank lobbyists — A leaked document obtained by the New York Times revealed that 70 of the 85 lines of derivatives language reflect recommendations made in a piece of model legislation drafted by lobbyists for Citigroup, another bank that played a major role in the 2008 crisis and also received billions of federal stimulus dollars.

If all of this sounds familiar, it’s because the House passed the exact same CitiGroup-written law last year, but it died after resistance from the Senate and Treasury Department. Now, Wall Street’s allies in Congress have effectively copy-pasted the CitiGroup-approved language out of the old bill and into the current budget deal, which is much less susceptible to a veto threat since a veto would shut down the government. In a provision conveniently located on page 1,599 of a 1,603 page document,

Congress lays out donation rules that would allow individuals to give more than $300,000 directly to political parties every year. According to the Washington Post’s Matea Gold, under the new rules, one couple could legally funnel nearly $1.3 million to a party’s various account.

So yes there are real reasons to be frustrated by this bill, however they are certainly not the ones pissing off the Wasilla Wendigo.

By the way this is the picture that Palin used for her Facebook post on this.

That's Sarah Palin in a nutshell.

Claiming to speak for American while wrapping her feet in it's flag.

Sarah Palin is nothing if not predictable. Update!

Yesterday when I posted that photo of Palin with a dead boar, with a link to Bristol's blog where she mentioned a "rock Star," a bunch of you put two and obvious together and determined that she must be visiting Ted Nugent's Spirit Wild game farm.

And you were right.

Here is the blurb under that picture from the Motor City Moron's Facebook page:

Had a wonderful day with Sarah & Todd Palin at our home on SpiritWild Ranch in TX today. Great Americans, great people, great patriots & great warriors on the side of good in this vile culture war against the America haters & subfleebs on the mongrel left. I presented the good Governor Palin with a phenomenal custom blackpowder rifle created by our Spirit BloodBrothers the LaCasse family at the Gun Room in Portland OR

Jesus, this guy makes me sick!

But hey who would you expect Palin to pal around with except a pants pooping pedophile with a gun fetish? I mean really?

So now we know who most likely killed this poor animal.

Update from Teddy's Facebook page:

It's never too early to get into the gungho Christmas Spirit, is it? I mean, Merry Merry Happy Happy Christmas Holidays to everyone everywhere. And tho Im certain you all celebrate these special Holidays with much gusto, Im afraid NO ONE celebrates it quite like the Nugent Tribe. Ho Ho Ho, BloodTrails in the snow, a merrily we all go! DoubleLive SantyClause is dead YOWZA!!

Oh yeah, Nugent is a real piece of work.

Bristol Palin brags that it was her mother who started the stupid idea of trying to impeach President Obama. And this is something to brag about?

Courtesy of Bristol's Facebook page.
So Brancy put up a new post yesterday about how the whole impeachment of President Obama that some Right Wing nutjobs are promoting was all her mama's idea:

A lot of people disagreed at first, saying it was too risky. But now more and more are seeing that Mom was right.

President Obama ignores court orders, makes up his own laws, and pretends laws he doesn’t like don’t exist. That’s pretty much the opposite of the President’s job description.

And now he’s gone and declared his own immigration policy that Americans clearly said they don’t want.

After his latest action, Fox News, Sean Hannity, and Chris Wallace started talking about impeachment. Mark Levin says he deserves it. And now Congress members are bringing it up.

Yes there are some fringe Republicans, conservative radio talk show hosts, and politicians desperate to get attention, talking about impeachment. However both Mitch McConnell and John Boehner have said there is no way they are allowing a vote like that to come to the floor.

And that is because on some level they realize that impeaching this President would be the best thing they could possibly do for his legacy.

Just think he would be the second Democratic President impeached by the Republicans IN A ROW!

There is no way that comes off looking good to the American voters.

However that rather obvious fact is a little too complicated for Snowdrift Snooki and her little snowflake. This is how Nancy French closed out the post for Bristol and her mom:

When the president gets out of control, impeachment is how the people can pull him back. Mom says making the case is the easy part — what’s hard is having the guts, courage and political will to do it.

All I have to say is PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

If there were a way to make the Republicans waste the next two years fighting to impeach this President it would be a godsend to the Democrats, whose campaign ads would write themselves, and who would use the anger and frustration of the American people to take back not only the Senate, but very likely the House as well.

And if Bristol and Sarah somehow convince the country that it actually WAS the Wasilla Wendigo who first promoted this idea, which I don't think it was, then it is SHE who will be blamed for the benefit that it provides to the Democrats and the destruction that is visited upon the GOP in response.

But it is not going to happen. And that is because virtually all of the people in Washington are significantly more intelligent than this batshit crazy reality actress and her idiotic daughter.

(H/T to Wonkette.)

Texas school board member posts image to Facebook of KKK member labeled "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas." Claims not to be racist. Ooookay.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

A Texas school board member is facing disciplinary action over his racist Facebook post.

Chris Harris, an elected member of the Hooks Independent School Board, posted a viral image of a Ku Klux Klan member with the caption, “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.”

He apologized for the post after receiving negative feedback in the comments, reported KTAL-TV.

Harris said he realized the post was inappropriate and offensive, but he insisted he was not racist.

His Facebook profile no longer appears to be active, and he declined requests for additional comment.

Okay look I am trying to give this guy the benefit of the doubt, but seriously, if you are not a racist then what in the hell would possess you to post this image?

And if he thought his Facebook friends would find it funny, then doesn't that sort of mean that his friends are probably racist too?

Oh I know, he has one black friend.

They ALWAYS have one black friend.

So my question is, does your black friend know you're racist?

Sarah Palin takes to Facebook to defend Alaska National Guard program and attack the President. Oddly enough not a whisper about the recent sex scandal.

The above graphic was posted on Palin's Facebook page last night along with this post:

We’re very proud of all our U.S. military forces! That includes our National Guard units, which can't be taken for granted as they're needed more than ever in these tumultuous times. When provided with good leadership, the Guard can always be counted on to complete successful missions and assignments in defense of our nation. All supporters of our military look forward to being encouraged by a President who will respect the Guard and elected officials who will prioritize budgets to strengthen all our fighting forces. Of specific concern is the ratcheting down of units, qualified personnel and equipment, and this particular issue I cite is due acknowledgement by state and national leaders, asap. I look forward to politicians' response to this, as it's coming from the guys carrying the load in the Guard.

Her ghostwriter then links to a letter sent out to various Alaskan politicians, written by former Staff Sergeant Russell Throckmorton, pleading with them to protect the Guard's Long Range Surveillance program as well as C Company which is apparently in charge.

At the end of the letter Throckmorton writes this:

C Company has a unique set of capabilities, which are essential to protecting Alaskans. Eliminating LRS could damage the belief in Alaska’s homeland defense, and be detrimental to the Guard’s recruiting and retention efforts.

If you found that you recognized the term "recruiting and retention efforts," that is undoubtedly because of the recent scandals surrounding the unit responsible for recruitment and retention.

However there appears to be no evidence that Throckmorton or C Company are in an way directly involved with that scandal. (Though Throckmorton was involved with an anti-drug program affiliated with the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race called, oddly enough, "Stay on Track." Probably just another bizarre coincidence.)

I would imagine that Palin's feigned interest in this program is solely about getting her name attached to a military interest and positioning herself as an advocate for protecting the military against the perception that President Obama plans to gut it and therefore leave America defenseless against, well according to the graphic, the Russians.

However considering the current distrust by many in the state of the Guard due to allegations of rampant incompetence as well as sexual misconduct, it would seem risky for Palin to connect her name to them at this time. Even though it offers her the somewhat vague opportunity to attack the President as well.

After all sexual misconduct and rampant incompetence seem like things from which Palin would strive extra hard to remain distant, for quite a number of reasons.

Sarah Palin's racist Facebook page gets noticed, and apparently she is now using Cyber Monday to trick people into buying a subscription to her batshit crazy channel.

So the folks over at Mediaite happened to notice this racist post of Palin's the other day.

Here was their take:

It appears that Palin lifted the image from the Facebook page of Mad World News, a website that is “firmly devoted to bringing you the truth and the stories that the mainstream media ignores.”

Besides numerous quote-mark errors, the joke quote doesn’t appear to reflect reason or reality when it comes to what the president has actually said about looting in Ferguson. But that didn’t stop Palin from sharing it with her 4.4 million fans and letting them have at it.

Yes, essentially the only people who found it humorous were folks who see brown people as  inhuman mongrels unfit to live and work among good, hard working, Christian white people.

Otherwise known as Sarah Palin fans.

Over at Wonkette they noticed that Palin was also trying to jump on the Cyber Monday bandwagon:

Governor Quitterface is in on the Cyber Monday action ahead of schedule. If you go to the Sarah Palin Channel right now (no link, because seriously?) you may find this message, teasing a personalized “mystery price” for new subscribers.

We already have a subscription (thanks, Fartknocker, remind us to murder you when we meet in person) so we did not click through to find out how much money we could save, but spoiler alert, it is zero dollars.

A "Mystery Price?"  Oh yeah, that's a brilliant marketing ploy!

Wonkette also gifts us with a segment from Palin's faux cooking demonstration.

Most of us have already seen, and mocked this earlier, but hey it's almost Christmas so what's a little re-gifting among friends?

(Seriously what kind of an imbecile tries to recreate the recipe for Cinnabon cinnamon rolls with absolutely no knowledge about cooking?)

Communications Director for Tennessee Congressman trashes the First Daughters. Immediately regrets that decision.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

A staffer for Republican Rep. Stephen Fincher (TN) took to Facebook this week to attack Sasha and Malia Obama, President Barack Obama’s daughters, for failing to show what she deemed to be sufficient respect for their father’s annual pardoning of a Thanksgiving turkey.

According to Gawker, Elizabeth Lauten, former new media political director for the Republican National Committee, wrote an open letter to the two girls, attacking their facial expressions and clothing choices.

“Dear Sasha and Malia,” wrote Lauten, “I get that you’re both in those awful teen years, but you’re part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least respect the part that you play. Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’ department.”

She continued, “Nevertheless, stretch yourself, rise to the occasion. Act like being in the White House matters to you. Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar. And certainly don’t make faces during televised, public events.”

For the pardoning ceremony, elder daughter Malia wore a long-sleeved sweater, a plaid schoolgirl skirt and opaque tights. Sasha Obama wore a mini-dress that hit her at mid-thigh with a long-sleeved cardigan sweater.

Both girls rolled their eyes when their father made a joke, as teen girls typically do when their father says something he thinks is funny.

Seriously?  Lecturing the Obama girls for acting their age?

That seems like a REALLY bad idea.

And guess what, it was:

Nine hours after her initial post, Lauten had a change of heart or, more likely, her boss called and flipped on her, or she was tired of getting cursed out on social media. In any case, she removed the initial post and apologized, also via Facebook:

"I wanted to take a moment and apologize for a post I made on Facebook earlier today, judging Sasha and Malia Obama at the annual White House turkey pardoning ceremony.

… I reacted to an article and quickly judged the two young ladies in a way that I would never have wanted to be judged myself as a teenager. After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents and re-reading my words online, I can see more clearly how hurtful my words were. Please know that these judgmental feelings truly have no pace in my heart. Furthermore, I’d like to apologize to all of those who I have hurt and offended with my words, and pledge to learn and grow (and I assure you I have) from this experience."

Gee I had no idea that daughters of Presidents were held to such high standards.

I wonder what Ms. Lauten would have had to say about this?

Or about the antics of a daughter from a certain famous half term Governor from Alaska?

Kind of makes folded arms and an eye roll seem sort of innocuous, don't you think?

Posted on Sarah Palin's Facebook page. Just in case you forgot she was a racist.

Source
I guess the message here is that the riots and looting that resulted from the verdict in Ferguson were carried out by undocumented immigrants? Is that it?

Or is it simply suggesting that any illegal activity that is carried out mainly by non-white people will soon be excused by executive order from our non-white President?

Well, either reason is pretty ugly. Which means I guess that Palin has finally completed her metamorphosis into every family's racist old aunt who is always using Facebook to send derogatory messages and racially insensitive memes to other family members.

Of course her fans certainly eat it up with a spoon:

Goes with his undocumented citizenship

I WOULD NOT PUT IT PAST HIM TO ISSUE AN INSANE ORDER SUCH AS THAT. THIS PRESIDENT SADLY IS NOT OPERATING WITH A FULL DECK. HE IS HARBORING A LIFETIME FULL OF HATE FOR THIS COUNTRY, THE VERY COUNTRY THAT HAS GAVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE WHERE HE IS AT TODAY. SAD

Sounds like something he would do.

Impeachment this worthless president

Yep she knows her demographic alright.

The Sarah Palin Channel Thanksgiving message, brought to you on Facebook where people might actually see it, features unruly children and an attempted puppy homicide.

So Palin, wearing the same hooker shirt she wore in Louisiana, decided to send out a Thanksgiving message.

It was clearly recorded for the Sarah Palin Channel, as indicated by the logo at the bottom, but Palin must have wanted more than six people to see it so she stuck it on Facebook,

As you can see from the picture she has both Trig (Who you can see in that screen capture is in the process of choking that poor dog damn near to death.) and Tripp (Who I was under the impression was NOT supposed to be featured in any of Palin's propaganda anymore.) on the couch with her.

Later she calls over Piper and her friend McKinley to parrot what they have been told to be thankful for. (McKinley: "Military." Piper: "Family and military." Good job kids here's your cookie.)

At the end Palin claims she did not force the girls to say that, but we all know the drill.

I think the take way from watching this video, is that the team behind the Sarah Palin Channel has given up on ever producing any sort of professional footage and that Palin has literally NO control over the kids in her family. Or the dogs for that matter.

Sarah Palin is now pimping some extreme snowmachine film that looks like it was made by teenagers hopped up on a combination of Red Bull and Meth.

WINTER PROJECT - TRAILER 1 from HYBRID COLOR FILMS on Vimeo.

This is how Snowdrift Snooki describes this adrenalin junkie porn:

Check out the trailer for this great new documentary about one of the extreme sports that guys – and gals – enjoy in the Last Frontier where we know how to live life vibrantly outdoors, literally in our backyard. Bristol’s boyfriend Joey stars in this, and Willow has a cameo.

I have to say that there is a real chasm in Alaska between other outdoor sports enthusiasts and snowmachiners.

Cross country skiers in particular have had a lot of conflicts with people ruining the trails with their machines, and dog sledding aficionados have had similar frustrations.

In effect everybody up here recognizes the value of snowmachines for getting around the state, and they are certainly fun to ride, however there is a disconnect for a lot of Alaskans between those who use them for transportation, and those who use them to show off for their friends.

I am not at all surprised that Palin would be supporting a "sport" that is attractive to younger people who get a thrill out of risk taking, and who often rely on their parents to cover their medical costs and sled repair bills.

By the way I watched this thing a couple of times and I had no problem recognizing Junker, but I did not see Willow anywhere.

I also took a look at the Facebook comments under this post and many of Palin's fans are trying to be supportive but a little confused as to why she is wasting her time promoting something like this.

Here was my favorite:

Sarah Palin, for President 2016 . Run for president in 2016 , we ask you every day to run for president. Please hear us. Run for president in 2016 or the media and the corrupt establishment wins. You have my vote. Please Sarah Palin. We love and support so much. God bless you and your family.

Yeah, not gonna happen.

Wonkette has another Sarah Palin video for you. I think you will find this one familiar.

Now some of you have already see this because I linked to it on Friday, and of course we have already spent some time mocking it.

However when it comes to mocking Wonkette certainly sets the standard:

On this week’s installment of The Sarah Palin Fartknocker Report, presented by Fartknocker, Governor Quitterpants looks right into the camera and argues with herself for six minutes. Democracy is good, Palin says, and since the Republicans won in 2014, the will of the voters must be respected. In 2012, however, when Barack Obama became the first president since Eisenhower to win at least 50% of the national vote in successive elections — well, that didn’t count. Not in the same way, anyhow. The voters did not vote to make Barack Obama king in 2012; instead, they voted to make Republicans king in 2014.

"He’s rejecting our democratic system, he’s turnin’ it into the Democrat system, big D, Democrat system. Failed policies. And he’s placing our nation in grave danger.

In 2012, voters reelected President Obama, but they did not make him king. Yeah, they reelected President Obama, and I say quite often in some speeches that I give that, oh, ‘The era of Obama is almost over,’ got two more years, right, soon? It’ll be over. And we’ll survive this president — the question is, Can we survive the people who voted for him twice?"

Unlike us the Fartknocker Report did not focus so much on the fact that Palin suggested that Americans who voted for the President were something the country needed to survive, and instead focused on the fact that Palin did not choose to hide this video behind a paywall, like many of her most frequent helpings of batshit crazy word salad:

People might think that Palin’s just trying to get her message out to as many people as possible, that personal profit doesn’t matter to her, but those people make us laugh and laugh and laugh, oh how they make us laugh. This self-inflicted breach of the mighty Palin paywall coincides with the Sarah Palin Channel offering a new, cleaner layout. Some of our very most favorite features, like the vocabulary building Word of the Day, are now buried at the bottom of the page (Today’s word is “edify: (v.) to instruct or benefit, (v.) particularly in relation to intellectual or spiritual matters; to uplift.”).

New look, new freemium approach to content? She’s gotta be losing subscribers…right? Please, please let her be losing subscribers, so this can end.

I completely agree with Wonkette that putting this video on Facebook rather than the Sarah Palin Channel, does indeed seem to indicate that she knows full well that hardly anybody will see it, or comment on it, while it is tucked behind the SPC paywall. And that means she is undoubtedly losing subscribers which is really saying something since as far as we can tell there were not that many in the first place.

And not to pat myself on the back with too much gusto, but I did kind of predict this all along:

Will it actually be successful however? I seriously doubt it.

Of course you don't exactly need to be Nostradamus to call this one.

That is why Palin has now gone from this.

To this.

I recently heard from our old friend Mercede Johnston who wanted to know id she was just seeing a bad picture, or if Sarah Palin's looks had actually faded that badly.

I think you know how I answered her.

Sarah Palin identifies the threat to America's survival. Americans who voted for President Obama.

Click scowl to release the hatefulness.
So last night I kinda sorta listened to the Wasilla Wendigo's preemptive attack against the President's immigration speech.

In it she vomited forth the same old word salad that we have all heard before ad naseum, and of course added that bit about the President giving Americans the middle finger, which was her typically vulgar way of attacking the President.

I then linked to it in my post on the speech and figured that was probably giving her TOO much attention.

But then this morning MSNBC reported something about her comments that I had missed:

But every now and then, one of Palin’s tirades stands out as newsworthy.

The right-wing personality released a new online video today, complaining about President Obama and immigration, offering the usual lines in a style that can charitably be compared to a teenager delivering a report about a book she hasn’t read (via Simon Maloy).

But then Palin added this:

“We’ll survive this president. The question is (overdramatic pause) can we survive the people who voted for him, twice?”

For Palin, this may have been a throwaway line, which probably doesn’t deserve too much scrutiny, but 66 million Americans voted for Obama in 26 states. Only six presidents have ever earned more than 51% of the popular vote twice and Obama is one of them. The president took office thanks to the support of a big chunk of the American electorate.

In Palin’s mind, these people’s very existence puts the nation’s survival in jeopardy? The biggest threat to America’s future is Americans?

So the woman who is always complaining that the President is not listening to the American people, and in fact is giving them the middle finger, just did that very thing herself.  (Just like her daughter Bristol.)

And she also accused good conscientious Americans who voted for the man they think will serve this nation best, as being something that the country needs to survive. As if it is SHE, and not the majority who voted in 2008 and 2012, who recognize what is best for this country.

To that I say, fuck you lady!

I certainly cannot speak for every American who gave Obama their vote in 2008 and 2012, but I for one I am VERY committed to doing what is right for this country. That's why I worked so hard to reveal who you really are to the American people before the 2008 election.

And I also recognize that it is people who are rigidly partisan, and refuse to compromise in order to solve our problems (You know, like the ones that Sarah Palin keeps endorsing.), who are the real danger to our prosperity and our security. Not the President who has bent over backwards at times in order to get the Republicans who work with him, on anything.

So once again Sarah Palin engages in projection. Giving a rambling speech accusing the President of doing the very thing that she herself does only a few sentences later.

Somehow I doubt that the majority of us would be surprised.

Kirk Cameron is begging his Facebook "friends" to artificially inflate his craptastic Christmas film's Rotten Tomato ratings. Apparently most people thought it sucked jingle balls.

This from the Christmas revisionist in chief's Facebook page:

Help me storm the gates of Rotten Tomatoes!

All of you who love Saving Christmas - go rate it at Rotten Tomatoes right now and send the message to all the critics that WE decide what movies we want our families to see! If 2,000 of you (out of almost 2 million on this page) take a minute to rate Saving Christmas, it will give the film a huge boost and more will see it as a result! Thank you for all your help and support in putting the joy of Christ back in Christmas!

Now I have no personally seen the film because I don't feel it appropriate to go on a murderous rampage right before Christmas. but I have written about it

However apparently many of the people who were tricked into thinking they were going to see a....a...well you know an actual movie that made sense, have not been holding back their criticism.

Here is but a sample courtesy of Rotten Tomatoes:

First the critics:

With a smile so wide and laughter that sounds so forced you half-expect the camera to pull back to reveal hostage takers, Mr. Cameron explains how several facets of the holiday - the tree, Santa Claus, gifts - have roots in religious tradition.
Ben Kenigsberg New York Times

Perhaps the only Christmas movie I can think of, especially of the religious-themed variety, that seems to flat-out endorse materialism, greed and outright gluttony.
Peter Sobczynski RogerEbert.com

As a movie, Saving Christmas is not good. But as a teaching aid for congregants about having their fruitcake and eating it, too? Sure, why not. Go nuts, guys.
Kimberley Jones Austin Chronicle

Now the audience members:

Beware! This movie will make you a dumber person. When you look into Kirk Cameron's vacant eyes, they will suck the intelligence from you like a particularly stupid industrial vacuum. His complete inability to form logical thoughts can be dangerously contagious. Do not under any circumstances allow children near this movie.

As a struggling Christian, I saw this with hopes of finding comfort and peace in religion. After watching this, I feel more frustrated and disgusted by others who claim to be Christians. I think this would be more entertaining to unquestioning, uneducated people. What a waste.

I don't think Jesus is going to come back now after seeing this!

What a terrible movie. This should come with free eye bleach and a time machine capable of giving me back 2 hours.

Falsification of history by a clueless faded child actor, making a bleak attempt to hide the fact that "Christian" traditions were borrowed from earlier cults and religions. 1h 20 mins you won't get back. Avoid.

There are forty six pages of these, almost all overwhelmingly negative.

Hay Cameron do you know how to get good reviews for a movie, besides begging for them on Facebook?

By actually making a GOOD movie that does not attempt to change facts to suit your fundamentalist religious views! Or one that does not treat its audience like they have only six brain cells to rub together!

Just a thought.

Sarah Palin thanks Louisiana for not laughing at her outfit, and gives a shout out to a few of the losers she endorsed this campaign season.

"Hi Mr. Cameraman, do you see me? Am I in focus? Of course I am, I'm a star."
Courtesy of Peggy Bundy's Facebook page:

North Louisiana, it was so great to be back in Monroe! With your warm southern hospitality you sure made us feel right at home amidst the duck weather (Duck weather?) that arrived ahead of season! It's an exciting time here. America's eyes are wide open after this month's election, and those eyes are now focused on Louisiana. This sportsman's paradise is poised to send the final message to Barack Obama in the runoff election on December 6th. (And that lesson is that this new Senate will do absolutely nothing until they get replaced by Democrats.) Congressman Bill Cassidy is ready to serve in the U.S. Senate as a fighter for Louisiana, as opposed to Senator Mary Landrieu who has been a voice for Barack Obama (voting with him 97% of the time) and has virtually ignored good Louisianans’ concerns for so many years. The status quo has got to go; Louisiana deserves the best, and Dr. Bill Cassidy is the best candidate for this great state! (Which is certainly not what she was saying just a month ago: "Check out Congressman Cassidy's long liberal record".) It's so encouraging to see concerned Americans all across the country rally for the good doctor – including Louisiana's own Duck Commander, Phil Robertson!

Never been prouder of Col. Rob Maness, a man of great character and commitment to serving our country. His efforts to unify the party behind Dr. Cassidy are truly admirable. (With the Colonel's bright future in public service, one can envision a future Cassidy/Maness team fighting for conservative principles in Washington.)

Well sure if he kisses Cassidy's ass now then the Republicans might throw him a bone later. That is Politics 101. Remember the first thing you have to give up is any of that integrity crap.

And Zach Dasher  (Who? Oh yeah the Duck Dynasty Dipshit's cousin who recently lost his race. )is a bold, sharp leader with a beautiful family and shining future who has unified behind his former opponent, Dr. Ralph Abraham, for U.S. Congress. (And along with Rob Maness that makes two, count'em two, endorsees from one state that came up the loser in this election cycle. Gee, no wonder she's proud of Louisiana.) Dr. Abraham, another veteran, has a servant's heart with his "Pilots for Patients" service that provides free flights for patients far from medical care. Thank you to Dr. Abraham's great charity for letting us use their hangar for the Unity Rally yesterday. Todd felt right at home surrounded by all the aircraft and gear!

Well more at home then he feels at home where he has to sleep on the couch and is not allowed to make eye contact.

Louisiana, your spirit inspires the rest of America; your great candidates bode so well for you on December 6th. (Oh gag me!) We'll cheer you on as you exercise your right to vote for these good guys. The USA needs them fighting for us all!

 - Sarah Palin

By the way apparently Palin suffered some kind of  "travel emergency" yesterday which these young ladies helped her resolve.

The only thing I can imagine is that her road kill wig must have awakened from its coma and jumped off her head, and these ladies surrounded it and wrestled it back onto Palin's dome before it could make good on its escape.

Just where is that hair school graduate when you need her?

Well whatever it was you know it must have been serious because Palin is standing with three African Americans and you know that must have made her break out in hives.

Sean Parnell concedes!

So last night Captain Zero conceded the election to Bill Walker, making Walker Alaska's new Governor.

This from Parnell's Facebook page:

It has been an honor to serve as Governor of Alaska for more than five years. Sandy and I will always remain thankful and humble that we could work for you to create opportunities for every Alaskan. After Friday’s vote counting by the Division of Elections, it became clear that while a win for the Parnell-Sullivan ticket was numerically possible, it is highly improbable. Where Alaska’s swearing-in date this year for the governor-elect is December 1st and where some ballots still must be counted, I deemed it in Alaskans’ interest to begin coordinating transition activities now with the Walker-Mallott ticket in the event the vote count holds.

I met this morning with Bill Walker to pledge an orderly transition. In line with this pledge, I offered office space for transition activities to the Walker-Mallott ticket as well as resources to accomplish the transition. We had what I believe to be a very productive discussion about how to work together for the benefit of Alaskans in this time of change in administration.

It is my fervent hope that Alaska’s trajectory for economic growth and individual safety and opportunity will be maintained. From bringing the Alaska LNG Project further than ever before; to creating Alaska Performance Scholarships for our young people; to being on track for natural gas to Fairbanks by 2016; to a Cook Inlet gas and economic resurgence; to reforming Alaska’s oil tax system to bring more North Slope investment and job activity than we’ve seen in decades (and more state revenue at these lower oil prices); to resolving the Point Thomson dispute and gaining first production there by 2016; and to leading our state in fighting the epidemic of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking – we have achieved a great deal for our state.

We respect the will of the voters, and offer Bill Walker, Byron Mallott and their families our sincere congratulations. Again, I want to thank our citizens for the honor of a lifetime.

Yeah, yeah, blah, blah, don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.

I could NOT be happier to see this creepy little POS leave office, I only hope that Walker proves to be the Governor that Alaska needs right now and is not yet another socially conservative toady of the oil companies masquerading as a moderate in order to garner votes, who will now rip off his mask of reasonableness to reveal the slathering wolfish grin beneath.

(Well great now I have THAT image to get out of my head before bedtime.)
